Defining Research Objectives via Appropriate Statistical Hypotheses

One of the challenges when planning a clinical trial is to correctly translate the general study objectives into a specific and precise claim that can be verified with the data collected. The line connecting these dots is by defining the statistical hypotheses. In this session, we will present the different types of statistical hypothesis, and discuss the difference between them. We shall also provide tools to understand how these hypotheses will be appropriate for meeting the study objectives.
